feeling christmas yet?
For an update;
My part-time English conversation teaching assistant job is over,
Siska and I have picked out the Hakamas we would wear on Graduation,
and..., I've settled in pretty nicely to my cool new room ^_^
The whole Indonesian gang and I went to the 'Christmas with Love' (guest starring Rio Febrian) event last Saturday, and it turned out to be a fairly exciting night. Welly and Hendro were involved in the musical, David Magic John did some cool magic tricks while MC-ing the ceremony, and it seemed like Sherwin, Cindy, Steve and Alvin did a good job helping coordinate the event!
Tonight I've just come back from a day's trip to sunny Kansai that comprised mainly of visiting the huge Panasonic headquarters for my interview. Besides it being my first trip alone on a Shinkansen, it was totally free, and I found Osaka an amusing place to visit. I wouldn't say all the incidents on the train were enjoyable. But I try to think of how I tried my best, that I got to see the Matushita Konosuke museum, the shoes didn't hurt my feet, and I didn't lose my way, not even once; anyway I think it was a nice little trip on the whole.
It's cold, and raining outside. Fall has turned into winter. I'm eating more and more chocolates by the day; I also have those tiny Christmas tree earrings dangling off my ears most of these days. They're all sure and definite signs that another Christmas is coming closer; however, by the way things are going, doesn't really seem it would be as merry as last year's Christmas had been. My family is oceans away, some of the guys are already going back home for a warm holiday, and then the development of those short-term future plans of mine is not seeing much progress yet. I do enjoy a daily dose of great friends, fun gatherings, never-ending supply of mikan oranges, chocolates and all sorts of sweets for company. But on some nights (mornings) I still sleep with anxiety creepin' in my head, like cloaked mysterious ninjas prowlin' around my bed.
